SSD is a member of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 and welcomes doctoral and postgraduate students in Anthropology and Sociology. We also receive doctoral students from other higher education establishments, especially the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) of Bordeaux.
Research seminars are held in order to examine interdisciplinary topics in the field of sociology and health.
SSD members teach Food and Health Anthropology at Bordeaux 2 University in the following courses: Master’s in Biological and Medical Sciences; Postgraduate Diploma in Social Anthropology; Postgraduate Diploma in health projects in developing countries. http://www.isped.u-bordeaux2.fr
