In the past, through the international network on Aids, Société d'Afrique et Sida, we focussed on documents relating to the social dimensions of the Aids epidemic in Africa. Today, our acquisitions and subscriptions cover a much wider range of topics, including general works on anthopology and more specific studies on the specialisations of SSD team members.
This documentation centre is internal to SSD. Documents are not loaned to outsiders. Visitors are however welcome to use the centre for consultation only.
The documentation centre is affiliated to the Aquitaine Information and Documentation Network on Development (RAFID) and to IBISCUS network.
SSD is eager to make the best use of the latest information dissemination techniques
provided by Internet.
To this end, we provide access to two types of electronic publication :
The Sociétés d'Afrique et Sida and Newsletter and AIDS briefs
